Surely it Would be You

by Jenn   Jun 16, 2005

The bright sun is a golden
silhouette of your face
though its light is in no
comparison to your rays

Grandmama's pearls are a
simplified version of your smile
that radiating band that
keeps me gazing a while

those long eal-like fingers
surely not a man's
velvety soft; how I yearn
for the feel of your hands

your chest is so solid
a rock, to be precise
though your smooth-silk skin
is quite enough to suffice

forever I could share
your safety and warmth, too
if there were such thing as perfect
surely, it would be you
