I'm sorry for all the pain I put you through
I didn't realize how much you needed me

On a bright sunny day, you were facing a terrible storm.
Behind those closed bars,
there was no way to escape.

I moved on and left you behind
I wanted to be seen, be heard that was selfish.

I never noticed how much suffering you were going through.
I wasn't there, but i should have been.

I have stepped into reality, and I see now that it's over.
I can not bear to see you anymore.
The tears fill my eyes.

All I want is for your forgiveness and then I promise I'll give up.
And until that day arrives I will beg and plead.

The one thing I still have to say is I'm sorry what you went through.
