Remembering the day

I still remember the day so clearly
the day i lost you
at my friends house
my mom came and picked me up there
i asked how is she
my mom looked down
she told me in soft words i am sorry but she passed this morning
remembering trying not to cry trying to hide my sadness
remembering the day
of the funeral
walking it to see her lying there cold and alone i was so sad that i could be there with her in her last moments
be there to kiss her goodbye and hold her hand
the funeral started and the preacher started to talk i couldn't hold it in anymore i had to walk
out onto the porch of the big funeral home
i sat out there for about a half hour all alone
then it was time to go to the grave yard
remembering the words of my father asking me to see her one more time before they took her away i refused i couldn't look
i remember the sounds of people crying and being sad and that is all that they could do
they were as helpless as her laying there lifeless
i remember the song of amazing grace being played on the bag pipes as they lowered her into the ground
i remember alls i could think was wow i am never going to get o See her smile or laugh ever again
i remember the feeling in my stomach as we left the grave yard that day a feeling of emptiness and all of the memories we had shared missing her voice
i remember driving to a house and having a family get to gether everyone was there
it was sad like a big family party that she wasn't invited to
going home that night and sleeping in the room that she died in
feeling her around me
i can remember

this is a poem about teh day that my grandmother died it was so sad because we were so close adn i can remember it all so clearly plz vote for me adn comment
