Don’t say His name around me
For everything He stands for
There is something you must pay.
He does not listen and for that He is not real;
A figment of everyone’s imagination.
In life there are only people to fuel you,
There are no angels over head;
There is not anyone protecting you from people;
Things are pointless and alas
Dulling dead eyes watch.
What is there to see in life?
But nothing more than a heartache waiting to happen.
You can call to Him but shall he answer back
Does his undying love call to you?
Have you heard His voice?
Have you seen the God that everyone talks about?
They follow like lost wondering souls;
Dead and undying.
Don’t tell me that He is there
For surely he isn’t because he would have helped;
Helped me by ending my pain and sending me into this so call bliss.
Don’t tell He’s there listening to our prayers.
But what are prayers than no more than wishes;
Wishes that have yet to be granted and never shall.
What do you have to look forward in life?
Love? No love is a mere emotion that gets in the way.
Happiness? There is no happiness in the world today.
What? What is there to strive for but death?
There is nothing after this life;
Life is just a thread that we hold onto and is like a play;
Dramatic and tragedy play over and over again,
O so much like a broken record;
Yet, in a sense it seems so right,
Yet it isn’t is it?
Life is life and when it is gone there is nothing;
No sweet Heaven that so speak of,
No afterlife that people dream of;
Nothing but nothing that there is.
Life is life and nothing more;
For when we die, we die.
End of story. There is nothing more to this.
Life comes and then it goes and then there is nothing more.
There is nothing after life.
No God, no angels, no Heaven, no Hell;
Nothing.
Do you get it yet, child?
