There is a bush
A bush of thorn and red
Red petals and green leaves
This bush is full of beautiful red roses

Red roses smelling wonderful
Red roses given by men of many years
Red roses of red like blood
Red roses of many lost loves

Red roses of many new found loves
Red roses of many springs and summers
Red roses from the man I love
Red roses from the man I do not

Red roses of blood
Red roses of romance
Red roses of love
Red roses of life
