Lullaby

by brin macnamara   Jun 20, 2005

I am in silent love in a loud body,
My heart cries loudly in silent chorus of ignorance.

Do not turn away.
Acknowledge.
Do not distract.
Listen.
Take your hands from your pockets
and feel.

Walk nearer.
Spy the vision in my eye.
A boat.
I will travel you to a quiet place
With my hands as oars
You will drift asleep.
