That One Night

by Courtney   Jun 20, 2005

I went for a walk on a cool winters night
Accompanied by a friend, everything was just right
The air was no cold although still brisk
Snow fell around, so soft, like angels kiss
I looked into his deep dark eyes
And my stomach filled with butterflies
Like windows to him mysterious soul
Theres so much hes longing to know
His dark brown hair ruffled in the breeze
Our conversation flowed with great ease
His speech was as smooth as butter
And I could do nothing but stutter
I will always remember his gentle embrace
And his soft cotton shirt against my face
The night was so perfect, it was like a dream
He is my kind, and I, his queen.
