I was afraid to like you again, afraid to get hurt.
You promised you'd comfort me and hold me when I couldn't stand on my own two feet.
We had many long talks and really got to know each other.

But then ever since you found out my past, you've wanted nothing to do with me.
You're the one that promised to help me quit and actually made me stop.

But now I wanna go back to that past just to escape who I thought you were.
You're the reason my life is so f u c k e d up!
If you could only keep one little stupid promise...

    hey this is a really good poem. i don't relate to Bottles of Hate in fact i only relate to about 6 of poems. thanks for caring though, nice to know. this is a really good poem like i said before. i'm sorry if someone has broken your trust like this, it's tough, i know from past experiance, but life moves on, believe me. keep your hopes up and everything!
