You've been such a good friend
you always said you'd be there till the end
now you're asking me why
i don't want to end it with such a quick goodbye

I'm not sure exactly how
to tell you what you want to know
i don't know where I'd be without you
i really don't have a clue

since i met you, you've taught me so much
with every look, with every touch
you brought out the best in me
but now we must ask, is it meant to be?
