You Hurt Me

So many memories of our love
Still remains close to my heart
The flame still burns inside
Only now to tear me apart.

So many dreams I still hold
Wishing they could come true
Now I hold a lonely heart
One that misses you.

So many sleepless nights
I continue to dream of us
How things use to be
And it's you... I still lust.

I'll never understand why
When our love was strong
Why in just a instant...
Everything went wrong!

Just always know I love you
You truly stole my heart
You brought me happiness
Until you ripped it all apart!

One day you'll realize the mistake
Of ever letting me go
The one true person that loved you
More than you'll ever know!

    This is so beautiful, yet so sad...I feel the pain coming through every word...It is so amazing how much we put into relationships, hoping for them to last, but at least you know you can always look in the mirror, and know you did the best you could, and it was their loss, be strong, my friend, I love your work, your always in my prayers, love ya Becky
