Death

by Laura   Jun 21, 2005

The blood that ran from her veins was not a new sight.
As she lay on her bed, a blade fell from her hand.
Its edge was covered in a crimson red blood that dripped onto the carpet.
Nobody thought that this young girl had problems with school and friends.
That’s because she had learned to hide it well.
She would stay hiding from the world
And talk to her friends on the phone to pass the time away.
When her friends and family found her, there was a note in her hand.
It told of everything that had happened and why she had to leave.
She wished them well and said not to worry.
And that’s was her fate, to live for a short lifetime
And then go in away that most did not.
She had taken her life to get away from the pain.
The only way out of the pain in this world…is through death.
