I Remember

Afraid of silence,
Broken like rain,
as faded as a colorless rose,
my cry's are in vein

Everyone sits,
and no one looks up,
Except a small child,
who yells shut up!

Then I realize,
nobody cares,
nobody listens,
nobody dares,

I get up,
out of my seat,
I run outside,
into the street,

Cars keep driving,
nobody slows,
nobody speaks,
not even the crows,

I run my way home,
crying louder and louder,
I run by a boy,
who says you're such a pouter!

When I get home,
I run into bed,
I keep crying,
with the pillow over my head.

I suddenly stop,
why am I crying?
I live an OK life,
I'm not dying!

The next day,
I go back to school,
everyone looks,
SHE was the fool,

It was her fault,
she broke my heart,
I thought she was my friend,
I should have known from the start.

On that dark and gloomy day
she through out her fist,
into my stomach,
then to my wrist.

I could have prevented our friendship to weather,
if I could have,
kept us closer together.
