My Last Words

by mimi   Jun 22, 2005

Life and death, it’s all the same to me
Only his love, can finally set me free
Set me free, from the pain that lurks inside
My emotional pain, I can no longer hide
Late at night, when the shades are closed, and the door’s shut tight
In my hand, lies a knife
I sit and wonder, should I do it tonight
Should I give up this horrid life
No one would miss me
No one would care
No one even notices me, standing there
Standing there, I stare into his eyes
Inside his eyes, are full of life
All the happiness, that he has inside
Bring envy, hate, and tears to my eyes
Standing there, I look at him with her
My heart feels all heavy, and my emotions start to stir
What does he see in her, that he doesn’t see in me
He was the one, that said we were meant to be
He was the one, that said he’d give me his life
Look at him now, his happiness brings my life strife
As this poem is ending, my life is to
My last words are I Love You
