She Died, Without A Goodbye

by ---In LoVe---   Jun 23, 2005

She was the one who always sat alone,
She was the one that didn’t really have a home.
Her parents hated her, never took any care,
She only wanted a friend, but we would only stare.
She never got invited to any parties, or to see a movie,
She just sat at home, trying to make her self look groovy,
But then people would just laugh and point at her face,
Whispering behind their hand, as though the words would disappear without a trace.
People would talk about her and never give a damn,
We never thought it would, but the day actually came.
Life got too hard to live,
Now we want her to forgive,
For the days that we weren't ere,
The times we didn’t care,
The days, weeks, months we weren't nice
Days spend talking about her, huddled up like mice.
But when it happened, the day she got sick of trying,
Was the day when, because of her people started crying.
She took her life so easily, as though there was nothing to live for,
But that was kind of true, she had no friends,
No parents to care,
No secrets to share,
No one there.
She was alone, and up until now we didn’t mind,
She’d show up at school, being all kind.
We were so selfish, to never say hi,
Now she’s gone and we never said goodbye.
