You were gone before we knew it,
when the truck hit
you and my brother.
You were gone before anyone was near,
You went home to heaven.
Everyone misses you here.
I would give anything to let you have your life back,
I always wish that I was in the car instead
and I'd be dead.
There were so many things you hadn't done yet.
You were fifteen and you still had life to live
but, I guess God needed you
and so he took you.
There are still things I wish to tell you
and I wish I had time to say goodbye
your last day,
but I guess it was God's plan
and he took you when he needed you.
He must have thought you were due
to come and live with him
on that sunny day in November.
I always play the 'what if' game
so you wouldn't have died that day.
I know I can't change the past
or change God's plan
but I wish I could.
But, I know you are in a better place,
you are home in heaven
with the heavenly Father.
I know you are with us all in someway, everyday.
I hope to meet you in heaven someday.
Until then, I will never forget about you
whatever I do.
You will always be in my thoughts
Alyssa Sue.
