Someday he'll get away

by Amanda   Jun 24, 2005

When he walks home everyday
Knowing how he'll end up
Looking in the eyes of hatred
With eyes of fear, he's looking up
They say the three words
That put him down
"I hate you!"
It all drowns
The beating starts
It's black and blue
In the mirror
Who he is? He has no clue!
"You were a mistake!"
They yell at him
"I wish I never had you!"
Then, he returns to his life so dim
As they go to sleep
He is still awake
Packing all his things
While he still aches
It's all clear sailing from here on out
He can finally laugh
He can finally, joyfully, shout!
