Birthday Flight

by Artemis   Jun 24, 2005

It was her birthday,
But she didn’t care,
She had made a plan,
And no one was aware.

This is when she came,
And when she will leave,
No one could stop her,
No one could perceive.

She pretended to be fine,
On that day in the spring,
She didn’t think about others,
And the pain she would bring.

She just left them all,
Before Easter came,
And she left a note,
For them to claim.

“I leave when I have come,
On this beautiful night,
No one should care,
For now I have taken flight.”
