Hoping

After wanderin the dark alleys
Passing trails from mountains to valleys

I arrive and wait
For the girl, sent to me by fate

As I lie awake
Hoping that this was no mistake

I kneel and pray
Hoping that this is not what they say

A fraud….. A fake
Or something made up like a cake
