Am I Ugly?

We were going to get our pictures taken,
and you told me to fix up my face
so i put a pretty green on my eyes
and a shiny pink on my lips

i came out of the room
and you tore me up
you told me to get rid of that color
your insults wouldn't stop

i like the way i fix my face
and my friends do to
am i ugly?
does my face really bother you

so i try again
i put a pretty purple on my eyes
and i pretty gold on my lips
i come out of the room and all you do is sigh

please, am i really that ugly
that you cant stand to look at me
i try so hard to be pretty
but i know that can never be

*it's true.. it happened this morning*

    this poem was good...i was wonderring if that was your boyfriend or husband or dad??...but anyways,,,it should not matter how you look and i think that who ever yelled at you should just shut the hell up...if you think it looks great then feel great...dont let anyone tare you down...i think that no one on this earth is ugly...you just have to see the beauty before you judge!..well l8r, jen
