Why Are We Here?

What are we here for?
Does anybody know?
When our journey has end,
Where do we go?

Does anybody know the truth?
It's out there so they say.
But has anyone ever found it??
Or is hidden still to this day??

What is our purpose here?
Do we even really belong??
Were can we find that something
That for which all of us long??

Should we persevere
Or just give up?
Please tell us god
If you're above

Explain to me
What I need to know
Before I come to believe
That I really should just go.
