Seeing you today
Has made me feel so sad
How can I explain?
The love I thought we had

You made me believe we were one
I really thought we worked
But really on the inside
I knew it would end in hurt

When I thought about you
My heart just filled with hate
How could you string me along?
I thought you were my mate

But I now understand
That it was more my fault then yours
I wasn’t good enough
I wish I had given more

When I give you this poem
You may have been having fun
But me I'll be ready
ready with my gun

I thought you loved me
But I am just a friend
I still love you
I will till the end
