Sitting in My Driveway

by honeypie   Jun 25, 2005

Sitting in my driveway I can hear a train
A train I'd like to be on
A train to take me away from all this Hell
Sitting in my driveway I can see a "For Sale" sign in the yard across the street
A "For Sale" sign that lets that family escape from a world they no longer want to be a part of
I'd like a "For Sale" sign on my life
Sitting in my driveway I can see cars passing me by
Those cars are headed Lord knows where with no intentions of coming back
Sitting in my driveway I can see my parents in the living room watching TV
Parents whom I want nothing to do with
My future has a "For Sale" sign on it
I will drive downtown and get on a train to Lord knows where with no intentions of coming back
Goodbye parents and goodbye driveway
