I have to say this was a good poem, but the begenning of this is way off...

"I never knew love before,
until you came around.
I hadn't shared the special things
like I have with you.
The kind of things no one sees. Except for me and you.
The kiss that makes
you lose your step."

i would work on this a little, the rhyming scheme went very well though..after you get past that part!
