At your grave

by Krystal   Jun 26, 2005

The day you went away my smile began to fade. I never thought that there would be a darker day. Now I stand at your grave, and pray that the lord has your wonderful face. As I cry these tears, I am reminded of all the years to the point where it seems so unfair to not have you there next to me wiping away all my tears. Death is my biggest fear, its hard not to have you here, but you are peaceful now, and so much better. I still cry at night, wishing I can hold you tight, every time I close my eyes I see your smiling face, that smile I remember takes me to a place where everything is ok. I know you are watching over me, and in my heart you will forever be.

Rest in Peace Wayne Purtle, the best grandpa in the WORLD
