I sat by my window and waited
and a bird perched on the ledge

what's wrong with my head

i got up and walked to my bed
i sat and read a magazine
"i love you" said Eminem
what is this, a dream?

i went for a walk outside
and a balloon brushed my face
"i love you" read the balloon
my mind must be misplaced

i walk up to the park
as you approach me and repent
"i love you", you say to me
now i know what everything meant

the bird was to symbolize our love,
how it'll always last and fly
Eminem was to symbolize the toughness,
how our love will never die

the balloon was to symbolize
us rising to the stars
and you repenting symbolized
how good you really are
