Do you ever wonder
About true love?
Does it only happen once?
Is once even enough?

Can you really touch the sky?
Can all regrets mend?
When does adulthood start?
When does childhood end?

Why do children suffer?
Who killed JFK?
Why do people get to choose
Whether they die or stay?

Why does faith hide sometimes?
Why is it so hard to perceive?
That God loves you
Why can't we just believe?

Why do people change?
Why is there depression?
Why sometimes when cancer plagues us
There is pain and no remission?

Why must you let some people go
And why must some love hide?
Why is it so hard to express
What you feel deep inside?

Why can't I hold a star?
Why can't I love everyone?
If I had to choose
Would it be the moon or the sun?

I know that God
Makes everything happen with reason
But I wish I understood
All these unanswered questions.
