CROSS ROAD OF MY LIFE

by Uchenna osuji   Oct 24, 2003

Yester-years will never leave my mind.
I will hold on to them as man does his breath to live.
Times are I close my eyes to bring you from my memory to hold you in flesh.

I dream off in stark daylight of angels, no of you. Holding you, touching you and wishing upon the stars with you.
Remember the walk along the sea shores, holding your hands to feel safe. Looking straight into your eyes to see heaven.

Today I feel the stab of Loneliness gradually thumping and squeezing its blows straight to my heart.
This time there is no you to rescue me. No you to protect me from this monstrous torture.

Now I stand alone
Though strong from all the traumas yet empty and utterly weak of your absence.
My appetite has ceased like water in a dry pipe,
My eyes quest for tears which are no more.

Now I know why
I have come to the cross road of my live without you.
I have come to this weary mountain of lonely spirits without you to guide me.

True it is. The cross road of live where no one knows where to find everlasting love.
