Voices and Screams

I am encompassed
In a sphere of blackness
And the only light I see
Is beginning to fade
Into darkness with me
The voices get stronger
As the light fades away
The screams get louder
They won't go away
The sphere closes in
And no light do I see
But no one can help us
If he's here with me
The voices take power
Because the light is gone
The screams become deafening
And my mind is gone
I didn't understand before
Why the knife was in my hand
I didn't know the blood was mine
Until the drops began to land
The voices have killed me
And I did what they said
The only screams were my own
As I realized I was dead
