Forget his touch..

by dEpReSsEdCuTtEr   Jun 29, 2005

So close to touch
yet so far away
she wishes he was hers
wishes they could have one more day

he sits there calmly
doing his own little thing
as she watches him silently
every look causes a sting

though no longer will he know
though no longer will she say
no longer will she tell him
how much she's hurt since that day

let him have someone better
she'll just silently weep
and die inside herself
rot away in her sleep

so painful to hide it
pretending not to care
that She's fine and dandy
though it's more than she can bare

the hurt is overwhelming
barley allowing her to stand
she has to let him go
forget the touch of his hand
