A tear ran down my cheek.
Just that one little tear.
I looked in the mirror.
I tried to look behind my shallow self.
I could not find the person that I used to be.
I could not find the smile I use to have.
I could not find the feelings I used to have.
I felt so shallow.
I tried to get my old feelings back.
I tried to be my old self again.
I tried so hard.
I really did.
But all I was a shallow person.
