Goodbye and i love you

-i picked it up
it was ice cold
this is a secret
so no one gets told-
-only one in
don't make a mistake
use it wisely
your life is at stake-
-write out goodbye
to all your family and friends
make up a lie
tell them its not the end-
-hand on the trigger
i want to die
more wrong than people figure
another tear another time-
-hold it close to my brain
so that it will be quick
this is the end to my pain
I'm starting to feel sick-
-count to three
fingers tighten
go all tense
tighter and tighter
this is the end-
-fingers pull tight
really loud bang
fall over backward
no more pain-
-daddy runs in
sees me on the floor,
mom runs by
and stops at my door,
sister is sitting on my bed in tears
i want to tell her its OK,
that i can conquer all her fears-
-rushed to the hospital,
but its to late,
I'm already gone
i made a mistake-
-i should have thought this through now i see just what Ive done
i wish that it could all be gone-
-if i could say one last thing
i would tell you the truth
and say:
goodbye and i love you
