So many nights I sit alone,
craving your affection
I stumble silently, wandering,
without any direction

I don’t know who you are,
what you look like or if you can really be
All I know is if you do exist,
you are a perfect match with me

I have never felt true love,
or even experienced my first kiss
The opportunities have been all there,
I have just always given it the miss

I have never felt that spark,
that constant longing that persists
When all time stops; It’s just you and that person,
nothing else matters or seems to exist

When life’s problems just simply float away,
and your worries disappear
Your sense of reasoning and consciousness is
overwhelmed and life’s purpose becomes clear

As your lips touch
and you stare deep into their eyes
You heart starts to pounds fast
and your stomach begins to fill with butterflies

Not because you’re nervous,
but because you know that they’re the one
Night after night praying
and now they have finally come

And you know that you
did not just meet them by chance or luck, but by fate
They are perfectly matched with you;
they are your soul mate

Though many miss there soul mate,
blinded by there standards and judge-mentality
I crave to find my soul mate,
but I have to consider reality

That with the size of the world,
and the amount of people within
Makes finding this person hard,
the chances are very slim

But I will wait to find this person
and experience that moment of bliss
To hold her for a life time; and finally
I will receive my first real kiss
So I wish it now, I wish it true
