Watching

by ♥Munchkin♥   Jul 1, 2005

I'm through, I give up,
No longer will I try,
Both of you seem to make me low,
And I don't know why,
I put so much effort into relationships with you both,
Trying to find a balance,
And keep you both happy,
I realised now,
I was going about it all wrong,
It seems both of you would be happier without me,
Neither of you need me around,
You have other friends to turn to,
You're happier with other people and not me,
All I do is make you sad or bring you stress,
So I'm leaving you both be,
I'll worry I know,
And I'll suffer more sorrow,
But at least you'll both be happy,
Living life with out me,
Next year will bring a new life,
All of us going separate ways,
You'll find a new girl,
Someone you'll actually love,
Not fake,
And you'll find other friends,
People you trust and make you smile,
Go live your lives, be happy,
And I'll attempt to live mine,
I'll watch you from a distance,
Making sure you aren't harmed,
But I'll stay in my little corner,
Hiding in the dark.

"I love you both but I think it's clear neither of you really love me like you seem to say. So I'll be here to support you if you need me but I'll stay away. When you need me feel free to come see me, and I'll listen and try to help you through but otherwise I'll just watch from a distance and make sure you're taken care of."
