Science's Life

by ml xox jk   Jul 2, 2005

Emerging from its enclosed cocoon
It awakes to a dead beginning
A place of nothingness
It craves for change

A land stretching far and wide
Yet leads to nowhere
The air fills with a mysterious tingle
Taunting the breather

From this moment it starts to live
It creeps, slithers and stalks
Seeking an answer to
An unasked question

Growing more as each day passes
Gaining knowledge as it observes
Hearing calls of the unknown
And listening to its echoes

Through years of sleepless nights
An answer has been found
It’s found the purpose to live
To change the world for better

Yet it strides for something greater
This is not enough
Now it must learn to teach the world
Of its valuable learning

The process must go on
The cycle never ends
It only has a beginning and must carry on
For generations to come
