Family Pain

by karen   Jul 2, 2005

I think back to the days where our house was full of smoke and how your love became a joke,
Bruises and stains all over my skin, from the pain you put me in,
no on ever happy, glad, nor cheery,
cigarettes and beer fill the air, you knew then I didn't belong there,
too many kids under that roof, too many times you lied and didn't tell the truth,
You wanted to hide it,
so deep,
so dark,
buried some where in your heart.
