Broken

What does it take to heal a broken heart,
will it take time apart,
will my mind be set on you,
some how knowing we're not through,
will it take days and weeks, to show how much you mean to me,
what does it take to heal that space that empty feeling that has no trace,
will it take my belief and trust to put away those hauntful thoughts,
memories just washed away, by tears that fall from my face.
