Loss of innocence

My life was just so perfect
one great roller coaster ride
I'd had a lot of guys and girls
who would never leave my side

I had the grades to go so far
I really had it all
but then one night I changed so much
my life just got so small

you told me that you loved me
I trusted you too much
I went upstairs with you that night
and then suddenly lost touch

I fought and screamed for hours
but somewhere I lost track
the real me went upstairs that night
