Saying Goodbye

by Margaret   Jul 2, 2005

You look right through me,
Like you want to see more.
You question my answers,
What more can you ask for?

You say that I'm lying
When I'm giving the truth.
You always hurt me,
I'm done with your abuse.

You think that you’re cool,
With all your slick friends.
Just to tell you they are jerks,
You are all lame.

What is it with you?
You were so nice till
Big ugly lies started to cover the truth,
But this poem is about me leaving the abuse.

So that’s just it,
It’s what im going to do.
I'm going to leave you
And all of your lame friends too.

I'm gone for good,
It's what you asked for.
I don’t care anymore,
Just get out of my life.

I'm not going to take it,
The abuse, the lies.
Use your excuses,
While I say goodbye.
