My Fairytale

I've always wanted a fairytale
that was my only wish
but I knew they are not real
the day the razor touched my wrist
I looked into the mirror
and saw what I thought was me
but then I looked a little closer
and saw what I used to be
I placed my hand upon the glass
and memories came to mind
the pain returned, along with the scars
and what I thought i'd left behind
i dropped to my knees, my eyes are wide
I'm staring at the floor
then I hear a voice in my head
"you cant do this anymore\"
I've always wanted a fairytale
but now im SURE they dont exist
the only tale ill ever have
is when the razor touched my wrist...

    nice work (on the poem that is)...keep it up (again with the poetry), i think that sometimes writing what i wish to do instead of actually doing it helps, but then actually doing it helps too....
