I'm Sorry I couldn't Be Brave

The pain aches.
I get into the water.
I hear the glass break.
I slowly slip underneath the water.
Saying goodbye to the world.
I won't come up this time.
I no longer care to be that sad little girl.
In this case suicide wasn't the crime.
The crime was why it was done.
Ask around maybe you will find out who drove me to my watery grave.
Ask and you just may find out why it was done.
I'm sorry I couldn't be brave.
I lived with this as long as I could.
I tried to live with the pain.
I knew sooner or later I was bound to kill myself I just knew I would.
I wasn't insane.
I just didn't know how to live in a world of pain.
