We hid the fights
We hid the bruises
We hid the nights
Of yelling and cursing

We hid the fears
We hid the emotion
We hid the tears
Of emotional destruction

We hid the you
We hid the me
We hid the two
Sides from all to see

We hid the strife
We hid the things
We hid the life
To never again be seen
