END OF MY BREATHE

by Uchenna osuji   Oct 28, 2003

Now back at my place
the images come alive again
Of all those faces
With all those names
But yet, here I am
Answering all your questions
Your eyes peering straight into mine in anger.

Answer me you demanded
Answer or else......
Who do you prefer?
Tell me who if not me?

Can a bird fly without its wings
Should I love without you
Where will my joy arise from
All these you ignored.

But you have let go
You have forgotten I could cry
My hands still sofly holding yours
My eyes constantly pleading

Imagine if I lose you
Won't the thought put out my lights
Can't it be the end of my breathe
I lay at your mercy side
All I could eat and think is PLEASE.
