A Dream

A Dream

Walking down a pitch black path.
The wind howls to a sound of hyenas laughs.
Moonlight hugs every visual sight.
Unleavened ground is barren with dirt grasping it tight.
Birds flying high among the sky with no intentions to rest.
Death under ground rest as time eats at their flesh.
Sacred ground kept unholy,
Midnight strikes and death rises to grab for me.
Suddenly the sky takes my picture, the stars blink, the clouds cry and the moon speaks.
The sensation of fear chills the bones in my feet.
The melody of whispers dance about my ear with words of deceit.
The deicer to escape controls my body with no mercy.
Gliding up toward the sky searching for the end to such a journey.
Tears beat against my face and body like thorns from a rose.
Then I opened my eyes that were closed and then arose from thy slumber taken looking at my feet still shaking.
