Love & Death

by daniel (AKA The Freak)   Jul 4, 2005

What's the difference between Love & Death?
They're both things I eternally yearn.
I see people around me getting one of the two,
But when the hell's it my turn?
I'm not trying to be greedy.
One or the other, i really don't care.
I just want one!
Regardless of why or where.
If I can't die, I need love.
If I can't have Love, I want to die.
Like a crow and a dove,
Two beautiful birds, One contradiction.
As I look into the night sky,
I just want to die.
But when gazing into you indulging eyes,
Love seems to be a more suitable prize.
Love & Death.
Two things that will always confuse,
But if ever offered one,
I will not refuse.

Great poem. those are two things I'm sure a lot of people fear and want. Keep up the good work!

    Take care,
