Drown.

by Mexxy   Jul 5, 2005

Step by step I bleed

Even the stairs are laced in blood

After playing with the serpents

I cleanse thyself with mud

The whites of my eyes flicker

My knees surrender to the ground

Hands placed behind my back

Where my wrists are tightly bound

The rope scrapes across my scars

Dried blood keeps it entwined

Day dreaming ; Gazing at the floor

I\'ve lost me state of mind

My head falls back and I shudder

I Stare up at the blackened sky

My tears bleed black

As the hours slowly pass by

There are no flowers ; No not this time

Just a shallow grave

Madness brought upon the soil

Not even the dead can behave

My blackened heart drips of red

It thickens from the cold

My bones are ground to dust

As my hands grow old

I\'m face down into the blood

Drowning in what I call my own

Hands still drawn behind my back

They say everyone dies alone
