I do believe

God has a plan
a plan for you and me
a plan so big
only He can see.

a plan we will fulfill
through the power of Him
a plan that will take place
only by His will

and in the future
things will change
situations will take place
that only He can rearrange

so I've put my trust in Him
to lead us wherever He may see
for He is my rock and shelter
and He will always live in me

He has taken us this far
when in doubt, i lean on Him
He will light our pathway
when the light has become dim

so whatever we do
and whatever we may see
i know He will be there
right beside you and me

i will always have faith
and in Him i trust and believe
because if it weren't for Him
there would be no we

*everything happens for a reason,
there is a plan behind you and me
