That poem was amazing, well done, very intricate and elegant, really mature poem, written very well

    this was my favourite stanza

    "The swords that sway
    and the bullets that fly.
    The blood that spatters
    and we victims that cry"

This poem really blew me away, well done and keep it up

    take care

refering to above post: It seems like You've written in a war form, but about life. Like trying to say life is a battle. Well written, and very deep. Great job!

    Take care,

Exactly. it's a metaphor. The punctures in the heart and back for example....refer to having your heart broken and someone backstabbing you. Glad you got it!

I take this as being about war and our daily struggle. Very well put together and it shows that you thought about it and didn't rush it. Beautifully written. I can't pick a favorite line as I love the whole poem. Perfect piece in my eyes!! Excellent write!! :)

I love poetry that evokes strong images, so that you see it as you read. Poignant title too. You're right, there is no way out of the pain and suffering that life dishes out. Gee, now I'm depressed ;) Great job as always, Christina.
