Daddy

by Thrisa Allworth   Jul 6, 2005

Sometimes I miss you so much,
The wind caressing through the trees,
It's such a simple touch,
The long days, turn into weeks,
My heart aches, and my soul burns,
Cold tears fall, marking my cheeks,

I thought you didn't care,
When I was holding the darkness,
you weren't even there,
No more loniless, no more cold tears,
And no more worries, daddy,
I've stopped looking through those false mirrors.
