If it was a crime

How could this happen
how could it be
out of all the other girls
why did he choose me,

He knew my love was true
he knew my love was real
he didn't even halft to ask
because he knew exactly how i feel,

He took my heart and ran
he stole the stars in my sky
leaving me with nothing
leaving me wanting to die,

If it was a crime
to steal someones heart away
he would be arrested
and locked up today,

He left my world cold and dark
he stripped me of my pride
leaving me alone and hurt
in a world were I try and hide,

He took the warmth from my touch
he took the happiness in my voice
he left me going crazy
my body feeling moist,

He took all the strength I could possibly find
he took all my knowledge that was once stored in my mind,

If it was a crime
to steal someones heart away
he would be arrested
