July the 8th

Tomorrow is July the 8th
It is almost here again,
Tomorrow is an anniversary
Of a day once filled with pain.

July the 8th hurt so many,
Because lots of people cared,
It left them feeling sad,
And feeling lost and scared.

But tomorrow will be different,
We’ll be thankful it has passed,
And two years have gone by,
The pain doesn’t need to last.

We will all feel the strength,
And all be strong together,
Hoping the healthiness,
Will now just last forever.

When this day came to her,
Though so horrible and bad
We will remember the spirit,
The courage our angel had,

So instead of the hurt once there
Tomorrow on July the eighth
It’s going to be a day of hope,
And love and joyful faith.
